UP: Police inspector dies of cardiac arrest while boarding road bus from Lucknow

An Uttar Pradesh police inspector died of cardiac arrest. The inspector was going to Prayagraj in a road bus on Sunday morning. During that time, he died in the bus. Police officials said that 36-year-old inspector Anurag Sharma was recently transferred from Prayagraj to Lucknow. He was going to Prayagraj to meet his family.

According to the agency, Kotwali in-charge Rohit Tiwari told reporters that 36-year-old inspector Anurag Sharma boarded a Roadways bus from Lucknow to Prayagraj on Saturday evening.

When the roadway bus reached Zero Road bus stand in Prayagraj on Sunday morning, all passengers alighted but Anurag Sharma did not stand up from his seat.

The bus conductor then saw him and tried to wake him up, but there was no response. The bus conductor then immediately informed the local police of the incident.

After receiving the information, the police immediately rushed to the scene for investigation. The police said that preliminary investigations showed that the cause of death of Inspector Anurag may be cardiac arrest. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for autopsy. The inspector’s family has been informed of the incident.

Inspector Anurag Sharma was recently transferred from Prayagraj to Lucknow. He used to come to Prayagraj to meet his family. There was an outcry in the police department over his untimely death.
