UP Police Constable Re-exam: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the dates for re-exam of police constable. The board has decided to conduct the written examination for direct recruitment-2023 on 60244 posts of Reserve Civil Police on 23,24,25 August and 30,31 August 2024. The Uttar Pradesh government had canceled the UP Police Constable recruitment examination for a total of 60,244 posts in February 2024 due to paper leak. While canceling the exam, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had assured to conduct the exam again within six months. Now preparations have been completed to re-conduct the canceled constable recruitment examination in UP Police. This time, security arrangements have been checked in many layers to ensure that there are no irregularities in the examination.

Before conducting the re-examination, the Police Recruitment Board has to find out whether there are CCTV cameras covering the doors of the treasury and the entire corridor or not? What are the types of camera DVR and hard disk? Apart from this, questions were also asked about the policemen deployed in the treasury, duty roster of security personnel, log book and fire safety. Many types of security checks have been done to avoid any kind of mistake in the board exam. The Recruitment Board had also sought a report from the district captains regarding how many entry-exit points and how many windows are there in the treasury. After receiving the report from the police captains of the districts, the recruitment board has taken forward its action.
