In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The family members of the deceased have made serious allegations against the in-laws.
Family members say that their daughter was stopped from making reels on Instagram and was also harassed for dowry. Police have registered a case against six people including the husband of the deceased.
Woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her in-laws’ house
The father of the deceased told the police that he had married his daughter Muskaan with great pomp in the year 2018 to a young man named Chand Khan, resident of Akrabad. Muskaan did not have any children after marriage, after which she became fond of making reels on Instagram. There was a dispute in the in-laws’ house on this. It is alleged that Muskaan’s husband Chand stopped his wife from making the reel several times but she did not agree. Due to this dispute, he committed suicide on Sunday night.
Police registered the case and started investigation
On this matter, the police say that after taking possession of the dead body of a married woman in Pilkhana Chowki area, the police has sent it for post-mortem. The police have registered the case on the basis of the complaint. After this the police has started investigation. Initial investigation has revealed that the deceased was fond of making reels, due to which she used to have fights with her in-laws.
