UP: Head-on collision between bus and van, two people including a woman died

A bus and a van collided head-on in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Due to which 2 people died and 5 were injured. On receiving the information, the police sent the injured to the hospital with the help of villagers. Where their treatment is going on. At the same time, the police has taken the bodies of the deceased into custody and sent them for post-mortem.

The incident took place in Kotwali Hathras Gate area on National Highway-93 connecting Agra and Aligarh. Circle Officer (CO) Rampravesh Rai said, two people including a woman died and five others were injured in a collision between a van and an oncoming bus on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Usha (55) and Vimal (35).

Five people including a woman injured in a road accident

They were returning to Agra from a function in Aligarh’s Ramapur village. He said that five injured including a woman have been taken to the district hospital for treatment. The bus that met with the accident was carrying students, who suffered a jolt due to the collision. He said that due to the accident, there was a jam near Jogia village, but later the situation was brought under control and traffic became normal.
