A case of rape of a 13 year old minor girl has come to light from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The victim has lodged a complaint in the local police station accusing her father of rape. Police said that the victim lodged the complaint a week after the incident because her mother had died. Circle Officer Atul Kumar Singh said that the incident happened with the victim on August 8 when she was alone at home.
In his complaint, the minor told the police that on August 4, there was a fight between his parents over some issue. The angry mother had gone to her sister’s house in Delhi on August 5. On the night of August 8, at around 8.30 pm, her father raped her in an inebriated state. When he protested against this incident, he was beaten up. As soon as the complaint was registered in the police station, the accused father absconded.
Drunk father raped minor daughter
According to the victim, her mother died on August 10 in Delhi. After cremating them, she returned to her home. Then reached the police station and lodged a complaint. As soon as the complaint was received, the police registered a case against the accused father under several serious sections including the POCSO Act and started searching for the accused.
A case was registered against the accused under sections of POCSO Act.
On this incident, the police say that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused father under rape and POCSO Act. The accused is being searched and will be arrested soon. Counseling of the victim is also being done.
