UP: Called lover to meet in the field, along with brother and his friend slit his throat, three arrested including girlfriend

A sensational revelation has been made in the murder case of Sonu, a resident of Sahaspur in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Police said that Sonu was murdered by his girlfriend and ITI student Mehnaz along with her brother Saddam and his friend Rizwan. Because Sonu had taken photos of the student and was blackmailing her by threatening her. On the identification of the murderers, the police also recovered the head of the deceased Sonu.

Accused Saddam told the police that his sister called Sonu at 7 pm on September 9 and asked him to come near Bairua bridge in Rampur district. He and his friend Rizwan hid. As soon as Sonu reached there, Mehnaz took him to a sugarcane field through a dirt road near the bridge. Saddam and Rizwan also reached there from behind. The three of them caught Sonu and tied his hands and legs and killed him. After getting Sonu’s neck cut, the girlfriend herself put him in a plastic bag and threw it in a dumping ground.

Sonu (25), a youth from Sahaspur village in Bilari police station area of Moradabad, who had come to his maternal home, was murdered by slitting his throat last Wednesday. Seeing the headless body, there was a sensation in the area. On this matter, SP Crime Subhash Chandra Gangwar said that Sonu, a resident of Sahaspur in Bilari, had left his house on the evening of 9 September after receiving a phone call.

When he did not return, his family started looking for him. His father Sabir lodged a missing person report in Bilari police station on the morning of 11 September. Meanwhile, the police received information that a headless body of a young man was found in the forest of Saifni area of Rampur.

Police and Sonu’s family also reached the spot. They identified the deceased as Sonu. Sonu’s father Sabir suspected Mehnaz and her brother Saddam, residents of Mohalla Majhra, Saifni, Rampur, of the murder. Sabir told the police that Mehnaz was in a love relationship with his son. When the police took both of them into custody and interrogated them, they confessed their crime.
