A case of kidnapping a minor girl and forcing her into marriage occurred in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. The victim’s family told the police that more than a dozen people entered their home and took their daughter away. They also threatened to kill. The victim’s father claimed that Rizwan had created a fake Aadhaar card for his daughter and changed her date of birth from 2008 to 2004. The son of the victim’s family, who works in a bakery in Mumbai, returned home as soon as he came to know about the incident. The victim’s family claimed that the accused youth was kept at the police station overnight and was released in the morning. The family was scared at this time.
Police filed a case based on complaint from victim’s family
In this regard, Superintendent of Police Bighapur Rishikant Shukla said that a case of forceful abduction of a minor girl from her home has come to light. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 191, 333, 137 and 292/24. Currently, four suspects are being detained and interrogated. A team has been formed and efforts are being made to trace the abduction and arrest the accused.
