A woman living in Shahbad police station area of Rampur has made a serious allegation against her husband and has appealed to the Superintendent of Police for justice. In her complaint, the victim told the police that her husband is addicted to gambling. He has sold 12 bighas of land and even her jewellery. Not only this, he has also put me at stake.
Apart from this, the woman said that she is a mother of three children and is worried about her future. Along with beating her, her husband gets her friends to play with her dignity and pressurizes her to have relations with them. When she opposes his words, he beats her. She has lodged a complaint in the police station.
Wife troubled by gambling addiction
The victim woman told that she was married in the year 2013. Her in-laws had tortured her a lot for dowry. Her husband was addicted to gambling from the beginning. Due to which he has lost 12 bighas of land and all his jewellery till now. He put me at stake and lost. After this, he started pressuring her to have relations with his friends.
Police registered a complaint and started investigation
On this incident, Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra said that a woman had come who told that her husband tortures her and has also sold the fields and jewellery. He is addicted to gambling. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered and the investigation will be done impartially. Strict action will be taken against the accused after being found guilty.
