In Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, the body of a woman and her five-year-old child was found hanging from a fan. There was a stir in the area after this incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The deceased’s maternal family has accused her in-laws of murder and hanging the body. It is being told that daughter-in-law Shanti took this step after a dispute with her mother-in-law.
This incident took place in Malav village of Ajgain police station area. The dead bodies of 30-year-old Shanti and her five-year-old son were found hanging at home. There is panic in the area after this incident. The deceased was married to a young man named Deshraj seven years ago. A few days after the marriage, he went to Mumbai to work. Had come home five months ago, there was a rumor in the village that due to the old age of Deshraj’s mother, her daughter-in-law refused to serve. There was a dispute going on in the family regarding this matter.

Deceased’s mother Ruchi alleges that her son-in-law Deshraj used to harass her daughter for dowry every day. Apart from this, the mother told that the daughter had called at night and told that her husband had beaten her. When we reached there in the morning, the bodies of our daughter and grandson were found. The bodies of both were hanging from the noose.
Police registered a complaint and started investigating the case.
On this matter, CO Hasanganj Santosh Singh said that Deshraj’s wife committed suicide by hanging herself along with her son. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and investigation has been started, further action will be taken accordingly.
