UP: A young man was beaten to death following a dispute over Rs 10 at a liquor store.

A young man was beaten to death in Sahanalpur, Uttar Pradesh. After receiving the report, the police immediately rushed to the scene, collected the body and sent it for autopsy, and began investigating the case. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Anil. Police said the killer would be arrested soon.

Police said Anil Kumar (35), son of Ishwar, a resident of Dinalpur, went to buy liquor from a liquor stall on the road leading to Hariyabans in front of the sugar factory on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, Pushpendra Kumar, a resident of Hariyabans, also came here to buy liquor. According to people at the scene, Anil bought wine first. When Pushpendra started buying liquor, the salesman took another 10 rupees from him. Regarding this matter, a controversy began.

When Pushpendra protested, Anil, who was standing nearby, said it was normal to get an extra 10 rupees. Anil and Pushpendra got into an argument over the matter. Pushpendra called his friends and they started beating Anil with sticks and he died.

Police registered a case of murder and started investigation.

During this process, liquor seller Kuldeep tried to intervene and he was injured. He has been taken to hospital for treatment. In this regard, SP Abhimanyu Manglik said that based on the complaint of the deceased’s relatives, the police has registered a case and started investigation. The murderer will be caught soon.
