In a rousing address to a large gathering of BJP workers and supporters in Sanasar, Ramban, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh urged the party cadres to unite for a decisive victory in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.

Dr Singh, who recently won the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat for a third consecutive term, emphasized the BJP’s agenda to eradicate the influence of opposition parties in the region. He accused opposition leaders, particularly Congress, of misleading the people and engaging in divisive politics aimed at pushing Jammu and Kashmir back into a state of turmoil.

“Rahul Gandhi’s politics only serves to deepen divisions, aiming to drag J&K into the chaos of the past,” Dr Singh said, contrasting it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to uplift the region’s youth and offer them a future full of opportunities and unity.

The minister highlighted the efforts of BJP candidate Rakesh Thakur, who previously served as District President, noting how he consistently raised local issues to the PMO level. Dr Singh appealed to the people and party workers to vote and support Rakesh Thakur in the upcoming Assembly polls.

The event saw a significant turnout of local residents from the Sanasar area, underscoring the growing influence of the BJP in the region. Dr Singh expressed confidence in the party’s ability to win the constituency with a record margin.
