In an effort to ease traffic congestion in Greater Noida West, the construction of Char Murti (Kisan Chowk) underpass is about to start. The Greater Noida Authority has completed all preparations in this regard. 800 trees will also be moved during construction of the underpass. The move has been approved by the forest department. The construction of this underpass will provide relief to people suffering from severe traffic congestion in Greater Noida West.
In fact, an underpass is being constructed at Char Murti in Greater Noida West. For this, 800 trees had to be moved from there. The Greater Noida Authority has started the process of shifting these trees. The trees will be shifted to parks in Sectors 2 and 3 of Greater Noida West. The 800 trees to be relocated also include large trees such as Cham trees, banyan trees, Bodhi trees, Pir Khan trees and palm trees.

Target is to complete within 18 months
Meanwhile, a 760-meter-long and 30-meter-wide underpass will be constructed at Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West. Its construction is expected to cost Rs 82 crore. The goal is to complete construction within 18 months. Temporary roads will be constructed to manage traffic during construction of the underpass. This allows traffic on these roads to be diverted and the underpass works to proceed without hindrance.
Telephone poles and gas pipes will also be moved
Abhishek Pathak, OSD, horticulture department, Greater Noida Authority, said there is severe traffic congestion at Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West. This creates problems for millions of people. To get rid of the traffic congestion problem, the Greater Noida Authority is constructing an underpass there. To build the underpass, 800 nearby trees will be moved. The trees will be moved to a nearby park, which will not affect the growing pollution. At the same time, power poles and gas pipes will also be moved.
