Ukraine’s biggest attack on Russia, drone attack till Moscow, Putin’s army killed 140 people

Dozens of houses were destroyed in the area. Due to this attack, about 50 flights had to be diverted from Moscow airports. Attacks in areas around Moscow can create problems for President Putin.

Russia is the world’s largest nuclear power and the Kremlin said that it shot down 20 Ukrainian drones flying over the areas around Moscow. Russia further said that it destroyed 124 drones fired from Ukraine to other parts of Russia. In this attack, houses in the area around Moscow have been damaged but there were no major casualties and one person died in the attack.

50 flights were diverted

After the Ukrainian attack, three of Moscow’s four airports were closed for more than six hours and about 50 flights had to be diverted. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media that this drone attack is another proof of the reality of Ukraine’s political leadership.

He said, “There is no way to link night-time attacks on residential areas to military action. The Kiev regime is constantly demonstrating its reality. They are our enemies and we must continue special military operations to protect ourselves from such actions.”

Russia also fired 46 drones on Ukraine

On the other hand, Russia also fired 46 drones over Ukraine, but the Ukrainian army said that it shot down 38. The Ukrainian attacks caused major damage to high-rise buildings in the Ramenskoye district, causing fire in several flats. A 46-year-old woman died here and three people were injured.

Recent weeks have seen Ukrainian forces moving into eastern Russia and launching attacks inside Russian territory. Last month, on 6 August, Ukrainian forces launched several attacks on Russia’s western Kursk region and have also launched major drone attacks on Russian territory.
