The name of the machine gun fitted in it is M240. It was designed in Belgium. But now it is manufactured by America. Since 1977, this machine gun has been involved in many wars. The cost of one machine gun is 6600 dollars i.e. a little more than 5.54 lakh rupees. Till now, 14 variants of it have been made. It is one of the most reliable machine guns.
Its basic model i.e. M240B machine gun weighs 12.5 kg. Length is 49.7 inches and barrel length is 24.8 inches. Width is 4.7 inches and height is 10.4 inches. It uses NATO grade 7.62x51mm caliber bullets. Firing rate varies. This machine gun fires bullets at the rate of 500 to 950 rounds per minute.

The range of this machine gun is about two kilometers. However, the accuracy is up to 1800 meters. If the conditions are right, it can hit up to 3.7 kilometers. It has a belt of M13 bullets. Or a pouch of 50 rounds or DM1 belt is used. Iron sight can be fitted on it. That is, binoculars.
