Two thugs defrauded an army officer of Rs 50,000 using fake currency notes, and the policeman was caught

In the country’s capital Delhi, police arrested two people for deceiving an army officer. The thugs defrauded him of Rs 50,000. One of the arrested defendants is a minor.

According to the news agency, the defendant handed the officers a bundle of documents rather than a stack of notes. The gang involved in this type of scam is known as “Gaddi-Baz”.

The thugs also included minors

On October 1, thugs tricked an officer at Delhi Cantt Metro station. The arrested accused include Mohammad Khurshid and a minor who has been nabbed by the police.

The accused were arrested on a complaint lodged by officer Bhishma Tomar about the fraud. According to the police officer, the accused defrauded Tomar of Rs 50,000 through his debit card. Tomar said the accused showed him a bag containing bundles of Rs 500 notes and told him a false story to lure him.

The defendant took his debit card and PIN and handed him a bundle of counterfeit notes. Following Tomar’s complaint, police stepped up patrols at stations with interchange facilities.

Both gangsters were captured

By analyzing CCTV footage, police identified two suspects who were with the victim at the time of the incident. Thereafter, the police arrested JJ. Information about the accused was gathered from the colony and they were arrested from Delhi Cantt Metro Station. After police interrogation, both men admitted their criminal behavior.
