Two people died due to exposure to poisonous gas in Madhya Pradesh. Regarding the incident, the police said that two people lost their lives due to poisonous gas inside a well in Anuppur district on Sunday.

According to the news agency, an official said that the incident took place in the morning in Jamudi village of Kotwali police station area. Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Jain said that the laborers were working in a field, when two of them went down the well to solve some problem of the motor pump.

Another person entered the well to see them but started shouting when he felt uneasy. He said that the women working in the field managed to save him with the help of ropes.

Jain said that a team of SDRF (State Disaster Emergency Response Force) later pulled out the bodies. He said that the deceased have been identified as Madan Singh (50) and Devlal (45). Let us tell you that last month a similar case was also reported from Janjgir Champa in Chhattisgarh. Five people died due to leakage of toxic gas.

This incident happened in Kikirda village. Here a person went down into the well to take out wood. As soon as he reached inside the well, he had trouble due to poisonous gas. After this, his neighbor Ramesh Patel also went down into the well to save him, but Ramesh also started suffocating. Other people also went down into the well to save him and came in contact with the poisonous gas, after which they also died.
