The two gunmen who shot dead NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai were from Baraich, Uttar Pradesh. Bahraich SP Vrinda Shukla confirmed this. According to the SP, the name of one of the accused is Dharamraj Kashyap. The name of the second accused is Shivkumar Gautam alias Shiva. Shiva was absconding while Dharamraj was caught by the Mumbai police. Both the accused are residents of the same village Gandhara. The two defendants are neighbors. Both are around 18-19 years old. Both are related to the scrap business in Pune. Baraich has yet to discover his criminal record.
Fifteen teams of the crime branch are searching for the third accused, Shiva. According to sources, Shiva and Dharamraj were recently recruited to kill Baba Siddiqui.
