Twenty years later, the missing couple is still a mystery

Twenty years ago, one Saturday night, Richard Petron Junior and his girlfriend Daniel Embo, with his friends, went out for a bar in Philadelphia. Once the outing was over, Mr. Petron Junior should have left MS Embo at his home in New Jersey and returned to his apartment in Philadelphia. CNN reported that after leaving the bar, his friends or anyone else never heard of them.

Investigators found no forensic evidence of the couple’s hideout, as they were last seen in the bar, said the FBI special agent Vito Roseli, who was the first chief investigator of the case, said.

He said that his truck was not seen on toll bridge cameras in any area and the couple’s credit cards and bank accounts did not register any activity.

The couple, with the 2001 Black Dodge Dakota pick-up truck of Sri Petron Jr., just disappeared at night.

His mother Marge Petron said that he knew that something was wrong when she did not listen to him immediately. “His phone was never closed – it was always in his hands,” he told CNN,

To date, there is no lead in the case. Anyone in the family thinks that the couple planned their disappearance and transferred to a separate field to start a new life. At that time, they were parents of a teenager and a child respectively. According to their families, they will never leave their children.

Mr. Roseli, who now works in cyber security for an international company in Miami, says, “It lives with me. Like, ‘What did I remember?” … is constantly staying in my head.

The FBI’s Philadelphia office says that this case is the highest priority. According to one of the statements, after the couple’s disappearance, the FBI collaborated with law enforcement from other courts in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

He sent divers between Philadelphia and Mount Laurel to examine the Delaware River and other water bodies. Investigators led several states and examined financial, phone and road toll data. He also saw in a hurry to principles, but nothing brought any fruitful results.

Technology developed less in the early 2000s, which now limits the scope of investigation. While forensic science has progressed much further, in this example, it has not had much impact, because there is no physical evidence.

The FBI is giving a reward of up to $ 15,000 for information for the arrest and conviction of someone involved in the case.
