The protesters are demanding compensation from the administration for the families of the deceased. Let us tell you that this incident happened with school girls going to Government Upgraded Middle School Fatehpur in Musrigharari police station area.

After the truck ran over them, there was chaos at the scene and a crowd gathered. Seeing the bodies of the two students, the crowd’s anger reached the seventh sky and they blocked the highway.

The deceased girls have been identified as Swati Priya, daughter of Brahmadev Singh, resident of Ward-8 of Fatehpur Panchayat and Kritika, daughter of Rajesh Kumar Sah. Both were fourth class students. Meena Kumari, daughter of Krishnadev Singh, resident of Fatehpur Ward-8, is injured in this incident and her condition is critical.

Demand for compensation of Rs 10 lakh each

The angry villagers blocked the road even after the rain. Tajpur BDO, Musrigharari SHO and many other officials and police from the police station reached the spot and tried to convince the people. CPI(ML) leader Surendra Prasad Singh was demanding Rs 10 lakh compensation for the family members of the deceased. After a long time, the highway was opened after talking to the SDO.
