Two people died in a tragic road accident in Thane, Maharashtra. Police said about the incident that two people lost their lives while two others were seriously injured when a high-speed motorcycle collided with a road divider in Thane.

An official said that the accident took place on Mumbra-Panvel Road when the deceased were going towards Kalyan Phata on Saturday night. He said that the two-wheeler was moving at a high speed and collided with the road divider, due to which both the bike riders died.

Two other pillion riders were slightly injured, the official said. A case has been registered under Section 106(2) (causing death by rash and negligent driving) and other provisions of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and investigation is underway, he said.

A month ago also three people died in an accident

Let us tell you that just last month, a car went out of control and hit a tree in Thane in which three people in the car died on the spot and three people were injured. This happened at around 8.30 pm in Borande village of Tokavade police station.

According to the report, the car occupants were going from Kalyan to visit Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga. During this, the car went out of control and hit a tree in Tokavade. The deceased have been identified as Narendra Mhatre (34), Pratik Chorghe (30) and Ashwin Bhoir (28). At the same time, the injured were identified as Shivaji Ghadge (35), Vaibhav Kumawat (24) and Akshay Ghadge (25). All were residents of Kalyan taluka of Thane district.
