Tragic clashes in Odisha – Five dead, three women involved in love disputelcla

A horrific incident took place in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday night. A violent clash over a love affair broke out here, leaving five people dead, including three women, and four injured. After learning about this incident, the locals were panicked. After receiving the news, the police immediately rushed to the scene to investigate. The police have taken possession of the body and started investigating the case.

It is learned that the incident took place in the Sundergarh Sadar police station area. The cause of the incident was love affair. Eyewitnesses said Avinash Pawar, a nomadic man from Maharashtra, had a dispute with local people. Pawar was married twice and had children from both marriages. Due to Avinash’s love affair, the disputes with the local people escalated and even violent conflicts broke out.

At around 11pm, as the nomads were sleeping, attackers armed with knives suddenly attacked them. The attack left five people dead and Avinash and another woman injured. The attackers fled the scene and took Avinash’s second wife and two children hostage.

After the incident, there were cries at the scene. Information about the incident was immediately provided to the police. After receiving the news, local officials immediately rushed to the scene and launched search operations.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving information about a large-scale clash between two tribal communities and found three women and two men dead on the spot. Those injured in the incident have been taken to hospital. A police dog unit and forensics team were deployed to the scene.

Police launch raids to search for attackers

A team has been formed under the leadership of the Sadar Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), which includes five Inspector Generals (IICs) and four police platoons. The team is conducting raids to find and arrest the attackers.

Western DIG and Sundargarh SP met the injured at Sundargarh District Hospital to monitor the situation and investigate the matter. Police are conducting raids to capture the attackers and rescue hostages. He said some tribesmen who come here for work may have been involved in the incident.
