A three and a half year old girl has died after a heavy iron gate collapsed in Pimpri-Chinchwad near Pune. This heart-wrenching incident has been captured in CCTV. The name of the deceased girl is Girija Ganesh Shinde. This incident took place in Ganesh Nagar of Bopkhel.
After this incident there was a stir in the entire locality. While playing, the child pushed the gate in such a way that it fell on the girl standing in front. The innocent child died after being crushed under a heavy iron gate. Police is also investigating this matter.
It is said that four children were playing together in Ganesh Nagar on Wednesday afternoon. Two of the children went inside the iron gate. After this, Girija and her other companion ran right in front of the gate. Then when the other boy was pulling the gate, he fell on the girl. The girl died on the spot after being buried under a gate weighing hundreds of kilos.
Due to this incident, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the Shinde family. According to the police, the owner of the neighboring building was aware of the gate being damaged. Despite this, children were playing near him. Senior Inspector Vijay Dhamal said that this incident is being investigated. Action will be taken against whoever is guilty in this.
