He talked specifically about women’s safety, cyber crime and ways to avoid it. He told how the city’s police is preventing such crimes by using technology and artificial intelligence.

It is believed that courier fraud is happening at a rapid pace in the city. Police Commissioner B Dayanand said that a person had suffered a loss of Rs 25 crore in this courier fraud. When asked why the police is unable to stop such crimes or how is it stopping them? He said that if the crime is reported immediately after it is committed, then there are more chances of recovery.

Police Commissioner B Dayanand said that the response is given quickly on calling 112 or 100. On the use of social media, he said that it is a very strong platform and the youth can be easily connected through storytelling and story-telling is used for this.

Feedback is also taken at the police station

The Bengaluru commissioner also talked about the Vandana app, in which feedback is taken from people. For example, if someone comes to report a crime, then people’s reviews are taken about how the police team treats them and later improvements are made on that basis.

How is traffic controlled in Bangalore?

Questions are often raised on traffic and law and order in Bangalore. Regarding traffic jams, he said that all agencies are responsible for it. Like Municipal Corporation, etc., work is being done with them to reduce traffic. He said that AI is used to run the traffic smoothly.
