A tractor-trolley overturned and fell into a ditch on the side of the road in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. A driver and a three-year-old child died in this accident. This accident took place on Tuesday evening in Upraila village of Alapur area.
Police said a man named Anokha Lal runs a cement shop. He had hired a driver, Charan Singh (34), to transport construction material. Police said the three-year-old boy who died was named Siddharth and was Anokha Lal’s son.
The accident happened while saving a biker: Police
According to news agency PTI, SHO of Alapur police station Dhananjay Singh said, “On Tuesday evening around 6 o’clock, driver Charan Singh was going to the local market with three-year-old Siddharth. He saw a truck parked on the road and a bike coming from the front, so while trying to avoid it, he lost control of the tractor-trolley.”
The driver died during treatment
He said that due to this the tractor-trolley overturned and fell into the ditch, in which the child died instantly. While the tractor driver was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
