New Delhi: Weather patterns are changing in Delhi-NCR. It has been windy in Delhi and Noida since Wednesday morning. As a result, the cold is likely to intensify. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi will be between 24 and 28°C, while the minimum temperature will be between 10 and 13°C. During the day, the wind direction is northwest with a speed of 4 to 10 kilometers per hour.

How is the weather in Delhi?

The first week of December in Delhi-NCR was less cold compared to last year. The cold is likely to intensify with Wednesday’s wind chill. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no severe cold weather in Delhi till December 10. After this, fog and cold may increase. The weather department expects the number of cold wave days to be below normal in most parts of northwestern, central, eastern and northeastern India.

Cold to intensify in Jharkhand

Meanwhile, the cold is expected to intensify in Jharkhand from Wednesday with the weather department expecting the minimum temperature to drop by three to five degrees Celsius. The state has been experiencing fog and clouds since Saturday due to the impact of cyclone Fangal.

Affected by Cyclone Fangal, many states in southern India have experienced heavy rains in the past 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely to occur in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather with light rain in Bangalore and surrounding areas.

The IMD warned of heavy rains in parts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Chikkamagaluru districts. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in most parts of North Kannada and at a few places in Gadag, Haveli, Raichur, Yadgir, Dharwad, Kodagu, Hassan, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Mandya, Chitradurga and Ballari districts.

The Meteorological Department said that due to the impact of cyclonic storm “Style”, heavy rains occurred in many places along the coast of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in southern India. The meteorological department said that Phongal is likely to move west-northwest over the east-central Arabian Sea in the next two days. Its intensity is likely to remain unchanged for the next 24 hours before gradually weakening, the IMD said.
