Tibetan citizen arrested from Delhi with fake passport, used to work for Chinese hackers

UP STF has arrested a Tibetan citizen from Dwarka Sector 3, Delhi. He was living here and working for Chinese hackers. He used to provide details of bank accounts of people of India to hackers sitting in China, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Many illegal documents including fake passport have been recovered from him.

The accused used to provide bank accounts to cyber hackers in China, Nepal and Sri Lanka. So far, 26 Indian bank accounts have been discovered in the interrogation. Now the STF is interrogating about his other associates and gang.

STF was told that the accused was in contact with Chinese cyber criminals based in Nepal and Sri Lanka. He used to provide bank account information of Indian individuals and firms to foreign nationals known to him. This was being used in cyber crime. Fake passport, PAN card, Aadhar card, ATM card and SIM card of Cambodia and mobile phone have been recovered from the accused.

He had come to Delhi from Darjeeling after getting a fake passport made
The name of this Tibetan citizen arrested by UP STF is Shinzo Tarachin, who came here in 2013 from Darjeeling after getting a fake passport made in the name of Chanda Thakur. Shinzo Tarachin has travelled to many countries like China, Malaysia, Thailand and Dubai. During this time, he came in contact with Chinese criminals sitting in Nepal and Sri Lanka and started making the bank accounts of Indian individuals and firms available to foreign citizens known to him.

The man has already been in jail for nine months
Shinzo Tarachinnan had provided an Indian bank account to a Chinese cyber criminal in 2019. After a transaction of about Rs 4.5 crore was made from that account, the account holder filed a case in Delhi’s GTV Enclave police station. In this, the accused Shinzo Tarachinnan went to jail and remained in jail for about 9 months. After being released from jail, Shinzo Tarachinnan met Nandu alias Narendra Yadav, a resident of Dwarka. Together with him, he used to work for Chinese hackers sitting in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
