Bangladeshi citizens use this passport to travel abroad. Intelligence agencies are closely monitoring the fake passport scam in three districts of the state. According to sources, the gang is active in North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas and Nadia districts bordering Bangladesh. Investigators are keeping a close eye on postal services, passport service centers and DIB offices in various regions.

The Passport Center does not have facilities to check documents

It was observed that some people even got their passports after making Voter, Aadhaar and PAN cards a few days ago. Now the national intelligence service is requesting documents from applicants dating back to 1971.
