The doctor at the hospital declared the three dead. Two of the deceased were from the same family, and the third was a neighbor.

The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem examination and are taking further action. The family members told reporters that the well had dried up. After the slipper fell into the well, all three entered the well to fish it out. After that, all three fell into a coma. The family members expressed suspicion of toxic gas leakage. Currently, the government has said that it will take further action after the postmortem report comes out.

The incident took place in Bada village under the jurisdiction of Bisanda police station in Baburu tehsil. A resident of the area, Anil Patel, 40, had his slippers fall into a dry well. Family members told Anil that he jumped into the well to retrieve the slippers. When people nearby saw that he did not come out for a long time, Sandeep Verma, 19, and Bala Verma, 21, rushed to rescue him. All three lost consciousness due to suffocation.

Then all three were brought out and sent to the medical college. Doctors declared all dead. Further legal action will be taken after the autopsy report is out.
