A couple and their 12-year-old daughter were killed when a truck hit a motorcycle in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district on Monday. And his child was injured. An official provided this information to a news organization. According to reports, the accident occurred near Dhaur village on the Kachandur-Dhaur highway in the morning.

The police officer said the family was returning home from an event when a truck laden with cement rammed into their two-wheeler. Rajesh Sahu (32), his wife Ritu (28) and elder daughter died on the spot in the accident, the official said. His two-year-old daughter was seriously injured.

The injured girl has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Police said the truck driver managed to escape after the accident, leaving the vehicle behind. He has not yet been arrested. He will be arrested soon. Police said efforts were being made to pacify local people who blocked roads to protest the incident.
