A video of someone pedaling on a bicycle muffler (exhaust pipe) has emerged from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. As you can see in this video, hundreds of silencers are placed in the middle of the road. Bulldozers (road rollers) are rolling over these rows of mufflers. As soon as the bulldozer came down, the muffler was stuck to the road. The decision to crush the muffler with a road roller was taken by the Andhra Pradesh police themselves. According to police, the muffler that was destroyed was modified to make a loud noise.
The police destroy these mufflers in the middle of the road with the sole purpose of making people aware of noise pollution and motivating them to obey traffic rules. At the same time, Joe decided that he wanted to install such a modified muffler on his car. The fear of the police is instilled in them and they avoid doing so.
Noise pollution is a big problem
Noise pollution has become a big problem in India. Especially on the road, there is a lot of noise. The biggest cause of this is the vehicle’s horn. In India, there is a strong tendency to blow the trumpet unnecessarily. For this, Indian drivers are ridiculed around the world. The boss of Taiwan’s Gorgoro electric bicycle company said when the bike was launched in India that Indians use the horn like a radar.
In addition to speakers, modified mufflers are also a major cause of noise pollution. Especially on vehicles like the Bullet, people install modified mufflers, which can make a lot of noise. This causes a lot of trouble for other people walking on the road. Apart from this, the trend of setting off firecrackers through vehicles has also increased. Many times, naughty people do this in crowded places or under bridges. Accidents occurred as a result. In order to stop these incidents, Andhra Pradesh Police took this step.
