Shatrughan Gautam, MLA from Kekdi, Rajasthan, had given up shoes and slippers for the last several months and lived barefoot due to his demands. Now CM Bhajanlal has fulfilled their demands. The MLA fulfilled his resolve by wearing shoes in front of the CM.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has fulfilled Shatrughan Gautam’s demand for Nasirabad-Sarwad-Kekadi-Deoli Charlane Road. Accepting their demand sensitively in the budget, this four-lane road has been approved at a cost of Rs 650 crore. After which, after 231 days, on the occasion of his birthday, he wore shoes in front of CM Bhajanlal.

CM said that important announcements have been made in the budget for the all-round development of Kekri district. These announcements will give new impetus to development in areas like education, health, transportation, drinking water etc. The Chief Minister said that in the budget, four-laning of Nasirabad-Sarwad-Kekdi-Deoli road will be done at a cost of Rs 650 crore, construction of Bijaynagar-Nagar-Badli-Mataji Ka Kheda and Devliya Kalan road will be done at a cost of Rs 20 crore, along with Rs 20 crore. Important announcements have been made including widening of the road to Malpura-Rindlya-Mandolai-Khejri, Bas-Devgaon-Baghera-Hisampur-Nasirda-Deoli at a cost of Rs. Besides, the work of high level bridge will be done on Dias-Panotia-Deoria-Dharop-Kerot and Khari river at a cost of Rs 79 crore 19 lakh. He said that Kekri will also get the benefit of 9 green field expressways being built in the state.

Water problem will be solved in 21 districts: CM

The Chief Minister said that the state government has started work on the ground by signing an MoU with the Government of India and Madhya Pradesh by including ERCP in the revised Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project. This will solve the water problem in 21 districts of the state. Also, our government has increased the social security pension by 15 percent. Under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the state government has transferred Rs 650 crore to about 65 lakh farmers.

In the supplementary budget, the gift of Kekri Nasirabad Deoli Four Lane Road worth Rs 650 crore was given to the people of Kekri.
