But even then, when Rohit Sharma was captained in the next game, he was dropped from the eleven.

Ravichandran Ashwin entered the eleven for the second game of the series. He took only one wicket in the entire match. Thereafter, he was dropped in the third Test too and Ravindra Jadeja joined the team. Seven wickets have fallen for Australia so far but Ravindra Jadeja is yet to register any success. Not only that, but he also spent a lot of time running. Rohit Sharma has bowled 16 deliveries to Ravindra Jadeja so far and has scored 76 runs. His economy is 4.80. Only Nitish Kumar Reddy is worse off financially. He scored 65 points in 13 rounds. His economy has reached 5. But there is a difference between Jadeja and Reddy. While Nitish Kumar Reddy has a wicket on one side, he doesn’t have much experience on the other. He recently made his debut. Therefore Reddy and Jadeja cannot be compared. Who knows what kept Sundar out and gave the two spinners a chance. However, it is now foreseeable that Jadeja may not be able to do much in terms of bowling but it will certainly be interesting to see if he is able to make up for it by scoring runs when he bats.
