The recent list of the world’s most powerful passports has been released. Singapore has topped the Henley Passport Index 2024 released on Tuesday. Singapore’s passport is the strongest passport in the world whose citizens can travel visa free to 195 destinations out of 227 destinations in the world.
What is India’s ranking?
India is ranked 82nd in Henley Passport Index. Indian citizens can enter visa free entry into 58 foreign destinations. India had performed slightly better in this index last time and secured 81st position with 61 visa free destinations.
At the same time, like every time, this time too Pakistan has performed very poorly in the passport index. Pakistan is at fifth position from the bottom. Pakistan is at 100th position in the list of 103 countries. Citizens of Pakistan can enter visa free in 33 countries.

After Singapore, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain are second in the list of powerful passports with 192 visa free travel destinations. At third place are Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea and Sweden with 191 visa free travel destinations. Belgium, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and Britain are at fourth place in the list with 190 visa free destinations. Australia and Portugal are in fifth place with 189 visa free travel destinations.
The Henley Passport Index ranks the world’s passports by measuring them on the basis of visa-free entry. That is, the passport of that country using whose passport you can travel visa free to most destinations, is the most powerful. This index is prepared on the basis of exclusive data received from the International Air Transport Association.
