A young man from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, married a girl from Pakistan in 2007. The wife had got a long term visa, since then the girl was living with her husband in Rampur. During this period both of them had 3 children. Everything was going well. During this time, the marriage of the young man’s brother-in-law was fixed in Pakistan, to attend which the young man went to Pakistan with his wife and children. Since then this entire family is stuck in Pakistan.

According to the information, Rampur resident Majid Hussain was married to Pakistan resident Tahir Jabeen. Tahir Jabeen came to India in 2007 on a long term visa. After marriage, Majid Hussain had three children. In the year 2022, Tahir Jabeen went to her native Pakistan on a Noori visa with her husband and three children for her brother’s wedding, but due to some reason two days of the visa expired, due to which she remained stuck there.

Tahir Jabeen’s entire family is stuck in Pakistan. Now I am not able to get visa again. In Rampur, the entire family of Majid Hussain including his mother and sisters are in bad condition.

Majid Hussain’s mother Fameeda told that I had got my son married in Pakistan. My Nand’s wish was to get my son married there, so I fulfilled her wish. The daughter-in-law had gone to her brother’s wedding on a three-month visa. Now I don’t know what happened there, due to some reason 2 days of visa expired, due to which she is stuck there.

Children study in school, we have collected their fees. He is trying hard to come, but is not able to get the visa. Not getting permission to come from there. I want my child to come back. He is very troubled there. My child should come back with his wife and children. We have appealed to the government. Papers have been sent from here. Whatever he had asked for.

The son’s marriage took place in 2007. I have three grandchildren. He went in the year 2022. He completed 2 years in the month of October. A call comes from the son, he is very upset. He says I am stuck here, call me back. I want my son, daughter-in-law and children to return to their country.

Majid’s brother Mahir Hussain said that his brother’s marriage took place in Pakistan. Our phuppo is from Pakistan. Our brother is stuck in Pakistan for two years. I get a call from him saying call us, we are in trouble. Our only request to the government is to get visas for our brother and sister-in-law, so that they can come back here. He is crying there and saying call me back, else he will do something. Here I went to LIU people, I spoke there also. Whatever documents they asked for, I have given them.

Majid’s relative Shakir Ali said that the visa of our brother and children is being granted, but the visa of the sister-in-law is not being granted. They are stuck there in Pakistan. Our only request to the government is that our family should return.
