He said it should be clear who had been awarded the tender and from where the ghee was supplied. Prahlad Joshi also expressed concerns
Union Minister Prahlad Joshi expressed concern over the Tirupati Ladu controversy and said it was a very serious issue which should be thoroughly investigated. He said, “The lab report that came out is very dangerous. It is a matter of faith of crores of people. This report released by Chandrababu Naidu should be investigated and if it is proved to be true, then the culprits should be brought to justice.” “Severe punishment should be imposed.”

He also called for an opposition in the matter and said the state government should take a decision on this. Joshi said, “The state government has the power and they should decide whether to hand over the case to the CBI or set up a special investigation team (SIT).”
