According to the report, hackers sent users false alert messages about Netflix account suspension, in which users were redirected to fake Netflix pages. On this fake Netflix login page, users’ credit card details were stolen and then scammed.

Once users receive an alert that their Netflix account is suspended, they click on the account and are taken to a fake login page. Here, the hackers ask them to pay money to activate their accounts. Many users fall into the trap of hackers and enter their credit or debit card details.

BitFinder has warned people about this phishing message from Netflix and asked them not to click or click on the message. Due to such false alerts, users intentionally or unintentionally send their information to hackers. Once your information reaches the dark web, it can be misused and significant fraud could be committed against you.
