CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big statement in the Assembly regarding the misbehavior with women amid rain in Gomtinagar, Lucknow. He said that such action will be taken that no one will have the courage to play with respect. CM Yogi also targeted the opposition while listing the names of the arrested accused.

Speaking in the House, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the names of the criminals of Gomtinagar have come to me. The name of one of them is Pawan Yadav and the other is Mohammad Arbaaz. These are people of goodwill. Now instead of Sadbhavna train, bullet train will run for them. Preparations are being made.

CM Yogi bluntly said in the Assembly that women’s safety is our first priority. We have been saying this from day one. Whoever plays with the honor of women will suffer the consequences. That is why we have suspended the entire post including the Inspector of that area (Gomtinagar) for negligence. Many officers including DCP, ACP have been removed.

CM Yogi further said that let me tell those who are afraid of bulldozers, it is not for the innocent. This is for criminals, who try to breach the security of sister and daughter. It is our responsibility to teach such people a lesson.

CM Yogi’s action in Lucknow misbehavior case

Actually, yesterday the video of the incident of molestation of a girl in Gomtinagar, Lucknow went viral on social media. Taking immediate cognizance of this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken strict action. DCP, ADCP and ACP have been removed from their posts for negligence, while the SHO and outpost in-charge of the area have been suspended.

The incident occurred on July 31, when due to heavy rains a bridge near the Taj Hotel was flooded. Meanwhile, some hoodlums targeted a girl passing by. He not only threw dirty water on the girl but also tried to touch her inappropriately. At present, Lucknow Police Commissionerate has formed three teams to investigate the matter. With the help of CCTV footage and viral video, the police have also arrested four accused. Others are being searched.
