“The session includes a powerful way of starting the day with meditation and positivity. Meditation, Yogasan, Breath and Self -informability technology. The session brought members of the Indian NRIS and Friends of India together to the shared celebration of health, harmony and overall life,” the post said.
Lal told PTI that “a site in which the most horrific work of terrorism was, now bringing people together in yoga”.
Describing the session as “amazing”, he said “a yoga session from the top of the world” is the best way to count yoga till the International Day of Yoga.
Before starting the yoga session, Lal told the participants that the location of the Forest World Trade Center has a violent history, which refers to the 9/11 attacks, but he said that “Yoga is about bringing all the people together, to bring the brains together. To bring the brains together. That we are all coming here in peace, it is quite unrighteous.” At the memory of Yoga Day in June, several programs will be held across the US – from Times Square and United Nations Headquarters to other prestigious destinations – concluding the grand yoga day celebrations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a historic Yoga Day Smritotsav in the Northern Lawn at the United Nations Headquarters in 2023, nine years of proposing from the United Nations General Assembly Podium to mark 21 June from the United Nations General Assembly Podium on 21 June as an annual memory.
