The ongoing talks regarding the alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the Haryana assembly elections have got stuck on the seat sharing formula. Leaders of both the parties are continuously talking about it. On Saturday, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha said that the world is hopeful and the alliance will be finalized soon.

“The world stands on hope”

Raghav Chadha left the residence of Congress leader and Telangana minister Uttam Kumar Reddy after meeting Haryana’s AICC in-charge Deepak Babaria. He said, “I hope it (alliance/seat sharing) will be finalised. The world is based on hope.”

It is reported that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is preparing to contest on all 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly elections. The party may also announce its candidates in a day or two. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has said that AAP is ready to enter the political battle on all 90 seats in Haryana.

AAP said- talks are going on

On the question of Aam Aadmi Party’s alliance with Congress in Haryana assembly elections, Priyanka said, ‘Talks are going on. It would be too early to say anything right now. Aam Aadmi Party is continuously working in Haryana. Today there are public meetings of Sunita Kejriwal. Our organization is strong on the ground. We are ready to contest elections on all 90 seats. We will also announce the candidates in 1-2 days. We hope that some conclusion will be reached.’

AAP-Congress alliance in trouble

A day earlier on August 6, it was revealed that the talks for alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in Haryana have hit a major hurdle over the number of seats and selection of constituencies. AAP sources had said that the party does not accept the Congress formula. Let us tell you that the last date for filing nominations in Haryana is September 12. Aam Aadmi Party sources had said that if Congress sticks to the current formula, there will be no alliance.
