BSNL has made a big announcement for its crores of customers. Government telecom company BSNL announced the establishment of 1876 sites. BSNL has also started bidding for 5G towers. The 5G tower tender will be submitted by November 22. To participate in the bidding, one has to deposit Rs 50 lakh with the company.

BSNL 5G service starts today

The company has issued an announcement inviting OEMs to launch high-speed 5G internet services in the Delhi circle. There will be two types of 5G providers in the Delhi circle: primary 5G-as-a-service providers and secondary 5GaaSPs. If reports are to be believed, BSNL could launch 5G services by Makar Sankranti next year.

The BSNL 5G core network will support up to 100,000 customers during the launch phase. Through 5G services, government telecommunications companies will provide customers with services such as mobile broadband, voice calls, video calls, data and ultra-real low-latency communications. It is reported that with BSNL 5G, you will get high-speed data facilities without lag at low prices.

5G connectivity will be available in these places first

BSNL will launch 5G services with the help of 3.5GHz mid-band. The government telecom company will first provide 5G services in Delhi’s Minto Road, Chanakyapuri and Connaught Place. Let us tell you that BSNL has entered into a partnership worth approximately Rs 19,000 crore with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and ITI Limited to launch 4G services. BSNL’s 4G towers are designed in such a way that they can be converted to 5G later.
