Giving information about this incident to PTI, a Thane Police officer said that this incident of theft took place in Dombivali area of Thane. Where three people have been arrested in connection with the theft of valuables worth Rs 15.5 lakh from a house.
This incident happened on July 27 when a servant of the house along with his associates broke into a bedroom of the same house. Giving information about this case, Senior Inspector of Vishnu Nagar Police Station, Sanjay Pawar said that they stole many items including watches and Indian and foreign currency, whose value is Rs 15.52 lakh.
Police took the help of CCTV footage and technical surveillance to solve the case. Also, intelligence information was collected from informers. The police officer said that on August 3, the police arrested three people from Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru, out of which one accused is 27 years old and the other two are 45 years old.
According to the police officer, stolen goods worth Rs 6.96 lakh have been recovered from the accused. He told that the accused are residents of Nepal. Police said that the main accused in this case i.e. the house servant is still absconding. His search is on.
