In the Maharashtra elections, the Grand Alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena ‘Eknath Shinde’ and NCP ‘Ajit Pawar’) achieved a landslide victory. As significant as the victory is, there is more suspense over the chief minister’s position. At the same time, important information was exposed. Key leaders of the alliance will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. According to sources, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, NCP chief Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis will arrive in Delhi tomorrow to attend the meeting. A decision on the chief minister’s post is likely to be taken tomorrow.
Will major decisions be made at the meeting?
Suspense remains over the finalization of the chief minister’s post in tomorrow’s meeting with Amit Shah. Tomorrow’s meeting is likely to decide whether the BJP retains the chief minister’s post for the full five years or shares it with the other two parties in the alliance.

I work for the welfare of the people: Faith
Ahead of the meeting, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde held a press conference on Wednesday. He said that my job is not to be the chief, but to serve the well-being of the people of the country. Within six months of becoming governor, he worked to lift the state from third place to first place. I am grateful to Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for supporting me during my tenure as Prime Minister.
To me CM means common man
Eknath Shinde said, I am a worker. To me, CM does not mean chief minister, but common man. I called Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Ask him to take a decision on the next chief minister. I have assured them that I will abide by their decision. The Shiv Sena will extend its full support to the BJP in its decision on the next state chief minister. There are no obstacles on our side.
