Udupi: A heartbreaking accident took place in Udupi district of Karnataka. A video of the horrific accident that took place in Udupi Kundapura town has also surfaced, in which a truck collided with an Innova car traveling in reverse gear and dragged it forward. The video initially shows the carelessness of a car driver as he reverses on a busy highway. A total of eight people were killed or seriously injured due to the negligence of the riders in the car. According to the CCTV video, the driver of an Innova car was slowly reversing in Kundapura in Udupi district when a speeding truck came and collided with the car. After the collision, the truck towed the car some distance. The horrific incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed outside the temple. It is reported that the car was carrying seven passengers from Kerala and was traveling from Kundapur to Udupi. Meanwhile, near the main entrance of the Chandika Durga Parameshwari temple, auto drivers started reversing into the temple.
A speeding truck comes from Goa
It can be seen in the video that at the same time, a speeding truck traveling from Goa to Kerala collided with the Innova vehicle coming from behind. The collision between the two vehicles was so violent that the Innova was completely damaged and the truck overturned.
