Ram Gopal Mishra (22), a resident of Rehua Mansoor village in Balaichi, Uttar Pradesh, was shot dead during a Durga idol immersion procession. Now, a video of his wife has surfaced. It is learned that Ram Gopal Mishra led the procession to immerse the Durga idol on Sunday evening. When the parade passed by a community in Maharajganj market, the two parties got into an argument over slogans and DJ playing. Soon the argument turned into a riot. During this time, stones were allegedly started being thrown from the roof, leading to a stampede during the soak. Meanwhile, Ram Gopal was seriously injured in the shooting and was rushed to Balaich Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries.
