Kuala Lumpur: A passenger plane that has been missing for about 10 years and 239 years is still missing. To date, no wreckage of the plane has been found, nor any information about the passengers on board. Such is the case, the world is entering the high-tech era. An American company decided to conduct a search operation for the aircraft. In principle, the Malaysian government accepted the US company’s “no find, no charge” proposal and resumed the search for the “MH370” passenger plane.
Transportation Secretary Anthony Roque provided this information on Friday. Flight MH370 is believed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean about 10 years ago. Locke said cabinet ministers at a meeting last week allowed Texas-based Ocean Infinity to continue exploration at a new site in the ocean covering an area of 15,000 square kilometers. “The proposed new discovery areas identified by Ocean Unlimited are based on the latest data analysis by experts and researchers,” he said in a statement. “The company’s recommendations are credible.”
