The politics of UP has heated up regarding the Ayodhya rape case. On one hand, Samajwadi Party is attacking the BJP government. At the same time, it is being said from the BJP side that the accused in this incident is close to the SP MP from Ayodhya. While SP demanded narco test of the victim and the accused, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya targeted the ‘Saifai family’ regarding this. Now SP President Akhilesh Yadav has said that the plan of ill-intentioned people to politicize such incidents should never succeed.
Akhilesh Yadav has tweeted and said, “The government should provide the best medical arrangements for the rape victim. It is the responsibility of the government to protect the life of the girl. It is a humble request to the Honorable Court to take suo motu cognizance of the sensitivity and seriousness of the situation.” In view of this, ensure all possible safety of the victim under your supervision, the intention of ill-intentioned people to politicize such incidents should never succeed.”
Akhilesh had demanded DNA test
Earlier, Akhilesh had said that the path to justice should be found by conducting DNA test of those accused in this case and not politics should be done by merely making allegations. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment as per the law, but if the allegations are proved false after DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.
Shivpal said- Keshav Maurya should also undergo narco test.
Earlier, SP National General Secretary Shivpal Yadav had also supported the demand for narco test of the victim and the accused. Shivpal had said, “I strongly condemn the incident in Ayodhya and also support the demand for narco test made by Shri Pawan Pandey. Narco test of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya should also be done so that it is clear.” Who may be doing cheap politics on sensitive issues?
What did Keshav Maurya say?
Earlier, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya had tweeted and said that it is SP’s innate nature to save rapists. If the rapist is a Muslim then the entire Saifai family stakes a stake in him to save him. He further wrote – SP will be wiped out. SP General Secretary had countered this statement of Keshav Maurya.
What is the whole incident of Ayodhya?
This incident of rape took place in the entire Kalandar police station area of Ayodhya, where after raping a 12 year old girl, the accused made an obscene video of her and then blackmailed her for a long time and kept raping her one by one. The matter came to light when the victim became two months pregnant. It is alleged that about two and a half months ago the victim was returning from the fields after working as a labourer. Then on the way he met a man named Raju who told him that bakery owner Moeed Khan was calling him.
It is alleged that Moeed raped her and Raju made a video of it. Then Raju also raped the girl. For a long time, both of them kept doing dirty work with her by blackmailing her on the basis of the video. The matter came to light when the girl became 2 months pregnant.
Police took action after pressure
In this case, the victim’s family also complained to the police, but it is alleged that no action was taken initially. Later, when people of Nishad Party along with Hindu organizations expressed their anger, the police arrested SP’s Bhadarsa city president Moeed Khan and Raju, who worked at his bakery. The victim’s mother told that when we went to the police station with the complaint, the sub-inspector told us to keep Raju’s name but remove the other name. Then after the intervention of the SP, our case was registered. We want death sentence for the accused.
Victim’s mother met CM Yogi
The mother of the victim minor girl met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow last Friday. During this, the CM assured of strict action against SP leader Moeed Khan and other accused. After this, action has also been taken against the police station in-charge and outpost in-charge and investigation into the property of the accused has been started.
