A case of alleged rape of a four-year-old girl occurred in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district. Police said the alleged incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police said the girl was sleeping with her mother. When the mother woke up around 3 a.m., she discovered the girl was missing. Police said family members began searching for the girl and found her lying in a pool of blood and crying by a pond outside the village.
He told reporters that the girl had been taken to hospital and her condition was said to be out of danger. Additional Superintendent of Police Siddharth said a case has been registered against an unidentified person based on a complaint from the girl’s family. He said two teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused.
Cases of rape of innocent girls are increasing every day. Recently, a 7-year-old girl who went to the Badong market in Uttar Pradesh suddenly disappeared. Her family continued to search.
