Big news is out about the Indian youth team. The Youth Selection Committee has announced India’s 15-man U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 50-over 2024. 18-year-old Mohammad Aman has been appointed as the conductor of the Indian team. The 2024 U19 Asian Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A total of 8 teams will participate in this competition.
The most successful team in this competition is the eight-time champion India U19 team, which is placed in Group A, which also includes Pakistan U19 team, Japan U19 team and the host UAE U19 team. On the other hand, Group B includes Afghanistan U19, Bangladesh U19, Nepal U19 and Sri Lanka U19.
Before the game, the Indian U19 team will play a warm-up match with the Bangladesh U19 team in Sharjah on November 26. The Indian U19 cricket team will start their journey against the Pakistan U19 team in Dubai on November 30. Thereafter, the Indian team will face the Japan U19 team and the UAE U19 team in Sharjah on November 2 and November 4 respectively.
The India U19 squad list is as follows: Ayush Mhatre, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, C Andre Siddharth, Mohd. Aman (captain), Kiran Chormale (vice-captain), Pranab Pant, Harvansh Singh Pangalia (wicketkeeper), Anurag Kawde (wicketkeeper), Hardik Raj, Mohammad Anan, KP Karthikeya, Samarth Nagaraj, Yudhajit Guha, Chetan Sharma, Nikhil Kumar.
Non-travel reserves: Sahil Parakh, Naman Pushpak, Anmoljit Singh, Pranav Raghavendra, D Deepesh.
