Pakistan Cricket recently visited Australia. In this tour, Pakistan made history by defeating the host Australia 2-1 in the ODI series. Pakistan won the series on Australian soil for only the second time in cricket history. However, apart from the ODI series, Pakistan also had to face a sweep in the three-match T20I series. The Pakistan team will now travel to Zimbabwe for a three-match ODI series and the same T20I series. Hosts Zimbabwe have announced their squad for the series.
3 new faces added to the team
The ODI series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan will begin on November 24. Zimbabwe have announced their squad for this series. For the first time, the Zimbabwe team has introduced three players who have not played for the national team-Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa and Tinotenda Maposa ( Tinotenda Maposa). Gwandu and Musekiwa have played in the T20I format but have not played in the other two formats. Maphosa, meanwhile, is yet to feature in any international competition. Craig Erwin will lead the ODI team while Sikandar Raza will captain the T20I team. Senior players Sean Williams and Craig Owen have not been included in the T20I squad.
The ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will begin on November 24. The second and third ODI matches will be played from November 26 to 28. The T20I series will begin on December 1 and the second and third matches will be played on December 3 and December 5.
