New Zealand star fast bowler Rocky Ferguson took a brilliant hat-trick in the second T20 match against Sri Lanka. He became the fifth bowler for New Zealand to take a hat-trick in a T20I match. Before him, Jacob Oram, Michael Bracewell, Tim Southee and Matt Henry had done it . It was because of him that New Zealand managed to win the tournament. New Zealand now have to play a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting from November 13. But even before this series, New Zealand had already suffered a big blow with the loss of their star fast bowler Rocky Ferguson.
Adam Milne joins the squad
During the T20 against Sri Lanka, Locke Ferguson felt a strain while bowling the second ball. He will return home to New Zealand today for scans. Only later will the details of the injury become known. Adam Milne has been named in the New Zealand squad for the ODI series, replacing Lockie Ferguson. He will join the team in Dambulla tomorrow. Milne has taken 61 wickets for New Zealand in 53 T20 internationals so far. Apart from this, he took 57 wickets in 49 ODI matches.
